| I took this trip alone because I couldn't convince anyone willing to come with
me. The perception amongst my family and friends is that South America cities
are dirty, crime-ridden and have poor infrastructures; not a place they wanted
to spend a vacation.
Well, they can't be more wrong about Argentina. I had the best time of my life visiting Buenos Aires, Iguazu Falls and the Patagonia in late February and March of 2004. And I have fallen in love with the country. Friendly people, incredible landscape, great food and a very good travel bargain. I carried a backpack everywhere and never did I, a woman traveling alone felt unsafe at anytime. Cintia at WOW! Argentina made the travel arrangements for me and was extremely helpful from start to finish. The adventure began in Toronto on February 24, 2004 where I boarded the 10 pm flight on Air Canada. | |||||||||
